SERVICE AT BICYCLE BELLE

At Bicycle Belle, we are experts in servicing the exceptional bikes that we sell, and we are especially experienced with technologies that are unique to cargo, electric and transportation bicycles.

We have invested in specialized equipment like assisted workstands to safely lift heavy and unusually shaped bikes, and have an extensive stock of brand specific replacement parts. We are Bosch certified and have experience with many other electric assist systems. y

Most importantly, we understand that bicycles are often our customers’ primary means of transportation, and we utilize an appointment system that allows customers to be without their bikes for as short a time as possible, in our effort to provide superior customer service. In order to make a service appointment, we recommend calling the shop to schedule an appointment.

We will inform you of the drop off day, when the bike needs to be in the shop before the end of business. Once your bike is in the stand we will contact you with our service recommendations, then promptly complete approved repairs and let you know when your bicycle is ready for pick up. We regretfully are unable to perform major service except on existing customers’ bikes, whenever our appointments are out over a month.

We are more able to work with new customers, especially ones with cargo and European bikes, in slower seasons, so if you have a bicycle that would benefit from our expertise, we recommend contacting us in winter.


+ Why are our service options so limtited?

I wish we had more throughput, but our space is small, and working on cargo bikes can be time intensive. We do our best to do walk-ins, when we have capacity. In order to keep our cargo bike customers on the road, and return their bikes to them quickly, we only schedule one cargo-bike tuneup per day, which can lead to backups. We recommend scheduling regular service in advance to avoid unexpected problems.
